Title I Math

What is Title I?

Title 1 is a federal program that provides additional math/reading instruction. The students who qualify are not learning disabled. They just need extra help with math and/or reading.

The goals of Title 1 are as follows:

• Promote a positive attitude toward math/reading
• Improve student achievement in math, reading/writing
• Build students' self-esteem and confidence
• Enables parents to be math and reading partners with their child
